Ms. Emily Grippin

Hi! I’m Emily Grippin and I am originally from Ithaca, NY. I grew up playing Ice Hockey and competed at the Division 3 level during college. After teaching and coaching in New York for six years I relocated to Denver, where I have been a teacher at Excel Academy since 2018. I teach Integrated Math 2, and I’m an assistant coach of both Volleyball and Basketball. In addition, I am an advisor of Hiking Club, Snowboarding Club and Sources of Strength. Rain or shine, I love to be outside; hiking, standup paddle boarding and snowboarding are a few favorites. I’m an avid reader and feel most relaxed when I have a book in my hand. I practice yoga daily and recently became certified to teach vinyasa.
