What does it mean to live sustainably? What is sustainability? Put simply, it is our ability to sustain ourselves! This means living in a way that we do not use all the resources on planet Earth so we can continue to live into the future. There are many ways to live sustainably, such as recycling, using less water, and gardening at home. We need to live in harmony with nature so we can ensure that the planet is liveable for our children and our grandchildren.

For this project you will research a sustainable idea and present your findings in a medium of your choosing. For example, you may choose to research rainwater harvesting and write a poem about it. Or, you may choose to write an essay on Denver’s recycling program. Anything that will help people to better understand sustainable living is acceptable.
